Our Work Connects Your People With Your Data

Network Planning Tool

Network Planning Tool DreamingWell created a network planning tool for a major services provider. This tool visualized country wide network use data in a drill down fashion. The drill downs extended from a single country wide metric, to individual network nodes. Predicted use was calculated at the network node level, and aggregated across regions to provide statistical analysis of future network planning.

This tool included maps, charts, tables, custom UI components for application specific visualizations, and dynamically driven drill down hierarchy selection. User's create their own dashboard by extracting specific charts and tables from the tool's extensive hierarchy of data. Each user then input future marketing, and forecasting data into their own dashboard view. Executives and network planners then used the predictions to purchase equipment and plan revenue.

RIAStats Browser Plugin Analytics Dashboard

RIAStats Dashboard Overview RIAStats is a service of DreamingWell that provides publicly accessible statistics about real world deployments of Rich Internet Application frameworks in browsers. This video shows the features of the RIAStats interface, and how to interpret the data displayed.

RIAStats was built using Adobe Flex for the user interface, PHP for the server side logic, and MySQL for storage. The server also makes use of Memcached for query caching.

Airline Market Analysis Tool

Airline Market Analysis Tool DreamingWell led a team of software engineers in the creation of an airline market analysis and drill down tool. This tool allows airline industry analyst to discover detailed metrics of sales and use amongst travelers across the globe. The tool extracts data from massive repositories of airline ticket sales, performs statistical algorithms against that data, and then presents the complex results in an intuitive user interface.

Users start at a high level overview of the industry, and then choose their target airlines, markets, and travel dates to find detailed statistics. These drill downs filter the maps, charts and summary statistics.

DreamingWell used Adobe Flex to create the UI, and worked with Java developers to efficiently communicate large amounts of data from web services. The enormity of the data that is analyzed, transferred to the client and shown in near real time was a real challenge. This challenge was overcome through custom extensions to the Flex framework, and detailed performance tuning.

Network Device's VOIP Dashboard

VOIP Quality Dashboard This dashboard shows the performance of Voice-Over-IP (VOIP) traffic through a network device. DreamingWell used Adobe Flex to offload the user-interface processing from the small device, onto the user's browser. This made revolutionary visualization of VOIP quality possible, which no other competitor could match.

This video demonstrates the use of many types of charts, data drill down, multi-parameter queries, custom interactive UI elements, and handling of large data structures. DreamingWell can use the data already in your enterprise to create new insight into your business and products.

Satellite Radio Shopping Cart

Shopping Cart Upgrade DreamingWell updated an online shopping cart, which is used by millions of people each month to order new services from a nation wide satellite radio service. This project included revamping the business logic and user interface to match the brand's updated marketing. DreamingWell led the UI planning and implementation portion of the project.

The Adobe Flex UI in this video connected with a Microsoft ASP.Net backend shopping cart system, an Alfresco content management system, and several business systems of record. The UI matched marketing copy and images, to the available products in the shopping cart, and then applied business logic against prices and availability. Several versions of the UI were published for this multi-channel business.
